"Leo" was a stray that a Feeder decided to get him vetted months earlier. Unfortunately, the carrier the Feeder was using to transport him to the Vet fell apart in the parking lot at the Vet's office. "Leo" was frightened so he ran away and the Feeder could not get him back. "Leo" finally returned to the Vet's parking lot where a Good Samaritan put out food for him, so "Leo" would return daily to get his meal, until finally he was trapped. The original Feeder could not be located.
"Leo" deserves a loving INDOOR home versus being forced to live outdoors again! He is still learning to trust humans other than his Feeder, so his Adopter will need to be patient and understanding while gaining "Leo's" trust and affection. In Rescue, helping a kitty with his socialization so he can live safely indoors, is one of the most rewarding feelings, because without your help, "Leo" is destined to the uncertainty of outdoor life where survival, food and shelter are a daily concern.
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, test for feline leukemia, de-worming, de-fleaing, etc.
