Bonded "Chino" and his brother "Frankie" are homeless for the 2nd time due to losing their home of 3 years due to medical illness.  They originally came to Clermont Pets Alive as 2 month kittens that had been born to a stray. They have been loved and adored by their Owners, but the doctor says kitties cannot stay in the home. "Chino" is a n active, curious short-haired 3-year-old male cat that loves to shower his humans with affection. He  will graciously protect you from any rogue flying insect that has found its way into your home and selflessly inspect every open cabinet or closet.   He is very vocal and will meow to welcome you to the room, Chino “talks” with you as you talk to him and he has no problem letting you know if you are running late with his food. He is very intelligent and will often pull the basket from the shelf so he can retrieve the cat toy of his choice. He is not much of a lap cat, but loves to snuggle up close to you. He is good with other cats, and small children when they have come to visit. Chino is a good balance between playful and laid back and would fit in well in a home where he has the chance to get active and the space to retreat when he’s had enough.  Bonded siblings, "Chino" and "Frankie" are sure to bring lots of love and happiness to their Forever Family. DOUBLE THE FUN!  Bonded  pair, siblings "Chino" (Short Hair) and "Frankie" (Medium Hair) have lived their entire lives together and are very bonded, so they must be adopted together.   Total Adoption fee for both vetted kitties is only $75.00  You are sure to enjoy the added humor, fun and love a pair would bring to your home.  Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, test for feline leukemia, de-worming, de-fleaing, etc. To Adopt: www.CPAAdopt.org  or Text/Call Anita at 513-317-3343

A Good Samaritan who feeds numerous colonies of stray/discarded cats and kittens discovered Cricket very scared and hungry at a fast food restaurant's parking lot.  Each time the Good Samaritan arrived to drop off food to the colony, Cricket ran up to her as if to say "PLEASE HELP ME"!  Most stray kitties surviving on the streets learn to NOT trust humans, so they keep their distance.  Cricket was obviously  NOT "street smart" or "resourceful" and she was petrified being by herself outdoors which meant Cricket had been abandoned or lost.  She was not yet spayed or microchipped, so there was no way to try to find her previous Owner, even if they were missing her. Cricket is now safe, spayed, microchipped and completely vetted.  At 6 months young, she is a playful, happy and loving kitten with a HUGE purr.  Cricket LOVES human affection and is ALL ABOUT playing with toys!  She is fine with other kitties and once she has exhausted herself from her playtime, she enjoys pets and cuddling.  Cricket's sweet love will fill the heart(s) of her Forever Family. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, test for feline leukemia, de-worming, de-fleaing, etc. To Adopt: www.CPAAdopt.org  or Text Anita at 513-317-3343

"Frankie" is a gentle, laid-back medium-haired 3-year-old male kitty who loves to be where his humans are, often greeting you at the door and patiently waiting for you outside the bathroom door. He has a sweet, quiet mew that will melt your heart, but is not above resorting to an assertive headbutt to your hand or arm to let you know that he is ready for some love and attention.   He loves to be brushed, sprawling out across the back of the sofa and never turns down a good scratch under the chin. He is good with other cats, and small children when they have come to visit. For the 2nd time, Gilbert has lost his family/home.  Gilbert was rescued by his 2nd family when his original family moved and left him to fend for himself in the neighborhood.  For 6 years, Gilbert has been loved and treasured by his current family until they welcomed their baby boy.  Gilbert had been fine with elementary children, but JUST CANNOT tolerate an infant child and has shown aggression toward his new human brother, so Gilbert has to be separated from the baby.  Although his current family are heartbroken, they know Gilbert deserves a quiet home/family that he can snuggle and play with all the time.  Gilbert is a very handsome, front paw declawed, gentle, playful kitty who adores his interactions with his human(s).  He LOVES human affection/cuddles and is always ready to help his human work on the computer.  His previous owner shares, "He has been a wonderful lap cat and companion and loves sunbathing and watching TV with us."  Gilbert will thrive in a quieter home with no other pets.  Gilbert's sweet love & playfulness will fill the heart(s) of his Forever Family. • Weight: 11.2 Pounds
  • Declawed: Yes
  • Adoption Donation: $50.00
Through no fault of his own, Jace has had 5 previous homes and still has not found his Forever Home.  1st owner moved & could not take him, 2nd owner had a child who was allergic, 3rd home had multiple cats, including 1 that terrorized him.  The 4th home had a human that is highly allergic to cats that had just moved into the home.  The last/5th home has an upcoming merging of households with other pets, that would not be good for Jace, who is shy/sensitive.  Jace just wants a home/family that will love him. Jace is a front paw declawed, very loving sweet boy.  Jace loves to sleep with his owners. Understandably, Jace takes a little time to believe he REALLY is safe in his new home, but then he will become extremely affectionate.  He loves running water so a cat fountain is a must! He will sit on the window sill and say goodbye when you leave for work and chat with the birds, and will come running to greet you and talk to you when you get home. He is much more of a cuddler than a player, but he does love catnip and catnip stuffed scratch toys, especially anything Yeowww! brand.  Jace will go wild for the occasional tuna treat.  If you are patient with him and let him warm up to you on his own time, you will have a loyal best friend to cuddle and watch tv with.  Jace needs a quiet home with no other pets and no small children.  He is such a sensitive loving boy, who just wants his very own Forever Home.  Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, test for Feline Leukemia, de-worming, de-fleaing,  To Adopt: www.CPAAdopt.org or Text/Call Anita at 513-317-3343

"Onyx" was rescued with his 2 siblings (Midnight & Sabrina) and his Mother "Norma" from surviving outside at an Apartment Complex Dumpster. "Onyx" is a very sweet kitty who LOVES to be brushed and has a VERY loud purr he will share while you brush him.  "Onyx" has a front paw that either was injured or was born with a deformity that makes him limp, but does not stop him from jumping up/down from high places or being carefree with chasing toys.  The Vet said there is nothing that can be done to correct the reason for his limp.   "Onyx" will be a GREAT companion for his human(s) and he gets along with other kitties.  He promises to bring lots of love and happiness to his Forever Family. Pumpkin was returned from her 2022 Adopter due to the 2nd kitty in the home had unexpectedly started attacking Pumpkin to the point that, for months, Pumpkin was afraid to come out from hiding for fear of being attacked.  Pumpkin was vetted where she had to be shaved and had lost some weight, but overall deemed healthy. Originally, in 2022, Pumpkin came to CPA because her only Owner was being forced to move in with family after her husband passed away. Pumpkin (who has a Manx tail, which means she was born with no tail) is initially shy with strangers, but once she feels safe, Pumpkin is very friendly and the ULTIMATE Lap Kitty!  Pumpkin loves to headbutt your hand for pets and LOVES sleeping in her human's lap.  Her ideal Forever Home/Family will be a quiet home with no other pets.  Pumpkin promises to bring lots of love and happiness to her Forever Family.
