"Aladdin" was scared after being trapped, but allowed his Trapper to pet him!  He  is relieved to be safely indoors with an abundance of food.  He is ready to find his very own INDOOR Forever Home where he will never have to worry for his safety, warmth or next meal.  Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, test for feline leukemia, de-worming, de-fleaing, etc. To Adopt: www.CPAAdopt.org  or Text/Call Anita at 513-317-3343

Mama Alexis and her 2 kittens (Faith and Joseph) were rescued from a Good Samaritan who rescued 3 strays, but failed to spay/neuter so the 1 male cat impregnated both females, which meant 3 strays suddenly became 8 extra kitties in her home.  CPA was able to help get everyone spay/neutered and help this Good Samaritan rehome 6 of the 8 kitties. Alexis is only 1 year old herself...babies having babies.  She is a very sweet kitty and was a great Mama who protected her babies. Her Foster Mom says that she LOVES attention from her human and appears to be very glad to be finished with her "Baby Duties". She especially loves to sprawl out on the bed.  She promises to bring lots of love and happiness to her Forever Family. "Hershey" initially had to have frequent meds for his abscess, so he quickly warmed up to his Foster Mom.  He is now quite the Socialite and a very sweet boy.  H e promises to bring lots of love and happiness to his Forever Family. DOUBLE the FUN!  "Hershey" would love to be adopted with 1 of his siblings (Nugget or Chicky).  Adopt a 2nd kitten at half price and enjoy the added humor & fun these kittens will bring to your home.  Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, test for feline leukemia, de-worming, de-fleaing, etc. To Adopt: www.CPAAdopt.org  or Text/Call Anita at 513-317-3343

"Honey" and "Checkers" just "appeared" in a rural neighborhood, hungry and flea ridden.  "Honey" was so desperate to get to safety, she literally pushed her way into an open window of her Rescuer by ripping open the screen.  Luckily this home owner reached out to find help to bring both these sweet kitties indoors to safety. "Honey" is a sweet kitty who seems VERY relieved to now be safely indoors.  She becomes frantic when put in a cat carrier, no doubt remembering how her world was turned upside down when she was abandoned.  This sweet kitty just needs to regain stability in her life so she can relax and enjoy her Forever Family/Home.  "Honey" promises to bring lots of love and happiness to her Forever Family. Through no fault of his own, Jace has had 4 previous homes and still has not found his Forever Home.  1st owner moved & could not take him, 2nd owner had a child who was allergic, 3rd home had multiple cats, including 1 that terrorized him.  The last/4th home has a human that is highly allergic to cats that has just moved into the home.  Jace just wants a home/family that will love him. Jace is a front paw declawed, very loving sweet boy.  Jace loves to sleep on the bed with his owners. Understandably, Jace takes a little time to believe he REALLY is safe in his new home, but then he will become extremely affectionate.  His Foster shares, "Jace has become the boss of the house! He'll tell me to turn on the bathtub faucet so he can have a drink, and he loves to "force" me to pile all of his catnip toys on top of him...watch his video.  He is very affectionate, but he can sometimes become overstimulated, so his ideal home would not have small children."  Jace has becomes buddies with Foster kitty "Pepper", so they would make an ideal pair for someone who is looking for two loving, friendly kitties." NOTE:  Jace and Pepper's Adoption Fees are discounted if they are adopted together.  Watch video of Jace and Pepper. A Neighbor reported seeing a car stop on their street and dump "Lover" out of the car.  This sweet kitty was petrified, for a week he went from house to house begging for someone to let him inside.  He was chased and bullied by a neighbor's Tom Cat and neighborhood kids were being very "rough" handling him.  When the Rescuer searched for "Lover" the day she contacted us and we were able to squeeze him into our Adoption Program, he was being chased by a puppy down the street.  "Lover" was exhausted and appeared to have given up and just laid down and let the puppy "do what he wished" with him.  This sweetheart was rescued away from the puppy by the Good Samaritan and brought to our Vet. "Lover" had clearly never been outdoors before being dumped in a neighborhood.  This boy is so affectionate!  He  is sooo relieved to be safely indoors with an abundance of food.

"Mercedes" was adopted as a kitten and then returned to CPA when her Adopters moved to a place that did not allow pets.  "Mercedes" originally came to CPA along with her 2 siblings (Camaro and Lexus) who were rescued with their Mama "Dodger" near a Fast Food Restaurant parking lot where Mama had been surviving for months before she became pregnant.  Every day Dodger would cross a very busy 4 lane highway to find food at the Fast Food parking lot so her body could feed her 3 kittens. Luckily some very dedicated Animal Lovers got this kitty family to safety for us. Mama and babies seem very happy to be safely indoors in their Foster Home with plenty of food and love available. "Mercedes" is a very sweet and loving lap kitty.  She can be shy around strangers, but once she knows she is safe, she will show what a GREAT kitty she is.  Her previous Owners were very sad upon giving up this sweetheart.  Mercedes is sure to keep her family smiling.   Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, test for feline leukemia, de-worming, de-fleaing, etc. To Adopt: www.CPAAdopt.org  or Text/Call Anita at 513-317-3343

"Sherman" and his siblings (Ulysses, Napoleon & Robert E.) were born to an abandoned cat in a Mobile Home Park.  A neighbor has been feeding Mama and her babies while also socializing them over their 9 months of life.  The neighbor reported that "Sherman" appeared to have been scratched on his eye and it appeared that his eye had ruptured so it was dangling out of his eye socket.  Unfortunately, this neighbor had no funds to take "Sherman" to the Vet, so for at least a month poor "Sherman" endured the pain and discomfort of this medical condition.  Luckily, we were contacted and able to get him to the vet.  After the Vet's exam, she said the eyeball was still in the socket, it was tissue coming out of the eyeball that was protruding out of the eye socket (the size of a large marble!) so his eye lid could not close leaving his eye continuously exposed to air. Due to the horrific sight of this kitten's growth, we have not included the "Before Eye Removal" picture.  Sweet "Sherman" was purring when he came into the Vet and continued his purring / kneading after he awoke from the surgery.  The biopsy showed that the growth was isolated to the eyeball and the Vet feels there is no need to be concerned since the eye is now removed. "Sherman" is a very sweet kitty who seems VERY happy that that painful growth / eyeball is finally gone!  He has won all the Vet Techs' hearts with his loving personality.  This kitty should be a great fit for most any home, including a family with small children.  "Sherman" promises to bring lots of love and happiness to his Forever Family. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, test for feline leukemia, de-worming, de-fleaing, etc. To Adopt: www.CPAAdopt.org  or Text/Call Anita at 513-317-3343

"Toroko (aka: Duncan)" was recently returned to CPA when his 2014 Adopters moved out of state and could not take him.  He was originally pulled by CPA from the euthanasia list at a local open admission shelter in 2013. "Toroko aka: Duncan" loves to be petted and will just plop down in front of you and ask to be loved. He is really enjoying the other cat friends when he was in foster home. There were small dogs that live there too and he thought they were just fine.  He loves to snuggle and enjoys an active household." "He is a domestic short-hair/Abyssinian mix (that long, triangular face is surely inherited from a regal, Egyptian palace feline of an ancient era). He is an affectionate, serious-minded boy who loves to be loved and to be in whatever room you are in, sleeping right beside you while you read or purring while you scratch that perfectly soft spot under his chin. He is gentle with children and with other pets." If you are looking for a handsome guy with a great personality to come love you,  look no further, Duncan is the kitty for you." $50.00 Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, test for feline leukemia, de-worming, de-fleaing, etc. To Adopt: www.CPAAdopt.org or 513-317-3343.
